When do I have to log in to the zoom TLI?
You may register at any time. It will only take a minute. You will receive an email after you register with a link to get you into Zoom Room one, where the event begins. You can log in as early as 1/2 hour prior to the event start.
If I hold more than one office, how do I get credit for both offices?

Do I have to download Zoom?
You will be prompted to download zoom after you click on the link in your registration verification.
Do I have to pay anything to download Zoom?
Zoom is free to download. You do not have to pay for TLI training.
How will Toastmasters International know that I attended this online TLI?
When you respond to the Chat Room Monitor’s request to enter your name, email, club name and officer title in the chat of each Zoom room and respond to Chat Room Monitor questions in the chat, that interaction – along with time logged in will be used to document attendance.
Why should I attend training?
Studies show that if at least 4 officer attend Summer training and at least 4 officers attend Winter training, then the club is usually a stronger club for the members.

What is the deadline to register?
The deadline to register is the day of. It is strongly encouraged that you register early so you have all the information you need beforehand.

You’ll get a link to a survey where you can provide feedback.
What if I don’t want my face to show on video?
All attendees will have their video and audio muted by default.
What is a TLI? A COT?
A TLI is a Toastmasters Leadership Institute. Training for Club Officers and other Toastmasters where the attendees have a choice of session they want to attend during the breakouts.
A COT – or Club Officer Training – is for Club Officers and other Toastmasters where all training occurs in one room and club officer positions are either taught to all members in the room, or attendees break out by office.
Who should attend a TLI or COT?
Anyone can benefit from attending a TLI or COT, but it’s designed to train club officers.
How much does TLI or Club Officer Training cost?
In District 23, training is currently free to all Toastmasters members.
How can my club achieve the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goal (Goal 9) for TLI Officer Training?
There are two parts to achieving Goal 9:
- at least 4 officers attend training in the summer
- at least 4 officers attend training in the winter
Let District 23 leadership know how they can help you achieve at least four club officers trained during both the summer and winter.
Can I attend TLI Club Officer Training in another District and still receive DCP credit for my club within District 23?
Yes. Ask that your attendance be conveyed from the District’s Program Qualty Director (PQD) where you attended training to District 23’s PQD.
